Unsafe in Our Own Parks: What Immigration Means for British Women
Organising in the Sun: WSI Picnic & Strategy Session
Last weekend’s picnic wasn’t just a gathering in the sunshine - it was a powerful act of reclaiming space. It also marked a full-circle moment for me personally.
Last April, I was harassed by several men while sitting in a park having a quiet picnic with friends. What should have been a peaceful afternoon became another reminder of how unsafe women can feel in public spaces, especially as certain patterns of behaviour go unchecked.
That day, I founded WSI.
The men who harassed us were obviously not born in this country - part of a broader pattern we’re seeing across Britain. We cannot fix the crisis of women’s safety without confronting how mass immigration is fuelling it. That’s not a popular truth, but it’s a necessary one.
This weekend’s picnic brought together women who know what’s happening. We shared stories, built connections, and made plans. From pushing for CCTV in taxis, to launching local WSI chapters, to demanding our political class face the facts - they’re failing us, and we’re done asking nicely.
At WSI, we’re creating something that goes beyond just advocacy - we’re building communities of women who are informed, courageous, and unafraid to speak the truth. We’re connecting across regions, backgrounds, and experiences, united by one goal: to reclaim safety and dignity for women in Britain.
We will not be gaslit into silence. We see the grooming gangs. We see the spike in harassment. We know the stats. And we are speaking up.
The picnic where I once felt powerless has now become a symbol of resistance.
To every woman who joined us, thank you for your courage. WSI is growing. And so is our voice.
There is no way that women and girls should have to put up with being harassed, demeaned and potentially worse while engaging in such activities as having a picnic in a park. This is an outrage and must be stopped. Thank you, Jess, for your determination, strength and bravery in creating and running Women's Safety Initiative to help keep all us females safe in the UK.
👏👏👏 I applaud the Women’s Safety Initiative for the incredible and important work they are doing in Europe to protect native-born women from the advances and violence of immigrant men. I want to make some things clear about the Women’s Safety Initiative here. First off, no the Women’s Safety Initiative is not racist or xenophobic. This organization has nothing to do with white supremacy or hating immigrants. As their website shows, women of color and women from immigrant backgrounds have also been victimized by immigrant men from the third world. Nor is anyone here saying immigration is a bad thing. Where it becomes a problem is when there is TOO MUCH of it and from very different cultures with lax laws and no expectation they will assimilate or obey the laws of or integrate into the culture of, the host country. That’s the problem! These men come from the very different parts of the world where for the most part, women remain second-class citizens.
Therefore they see no problem with attacking, sexually harassing, sexually assaulting, raping, or brutally murdering native-born British women or women in other European countries. Yes, there is indeed sexual violence by native-born men against native-born women. No one here is denying or ignoring that. But there is plenty of attention on that as their should be. It is sexual violence against native-born women by foreigners that is being ignored and in some cases, covered-up by the press and European governments in the name of political correctness and not wanting to come off as racist or xenophobic. Let’s be clear here, legitimate racism or xenophobia in Britain is disgusting and is to be condemned and hate crimes against people of color and immigrants should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
But that’s NOT the point here. The problem with these men is NOT their skin color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, or immigration status. The problem with these men is their behavior and internal moral compass. Mass immigration is very, very bad for Britain and Europe as a whole. British and European women in particular have taken the brunt of immigrant crime. As have working-class people, Jews, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ people, and children.
